Milan officially signs Zach LeDay

Milan concluded another deal in a short period of time as Zach LeDay has officially signed his contract with the Italian side. The American forward is returning to Italy after two seasons with Partizan.

It was a long-anticipated move that came to fruition on Tuesday as LeDay parted ways with the Serbian powerhouse a few days ago.

“In what I consider a very happy and beautiful day, I want to keep things short, simple and hopefully sweet: Milan, it is true, I’m back!” LeDay noted.

LeDay returns to Italy as a seasoned EuroLeague veteran after stints with Olympiacos, Zalgiris and Partizan. He played a huge role in Partizan’s return to the EuroLeague level and helped the club established itself in the top European contest.

The American forward started  his professional career at Hapoel Gilboa in Israel, where he averaged 19.5 points (the league second-best scorer) with 8.2 rebounds per game (fifth overall). He then moved to Olympiacos playing under David Blatt in his rookie EuroLeague season.

After successful seasons in Kaunas and Milan, LeDay spent the last three years with Partizan Belgrade, winning the Adriatic League championship in 2023.

During the 2022/23 EuroLeague season he scored 11.4 points per game and grabbed 5.1 rebounds on average. In the 2023/24 season he had 10.2 points and 4.6 rebounds per game.
