Keenan Evans officially joins Olympiacos on long-term deal

Olympiacos has completed an expected move as the Reds announced the signing of American guard Keenan Evans. The former Zalgiris man is joining the Greek giants on a three-year deal after appearing in 51 EuroLeague games with the Lithuanian club.

He also had a stint of 33 games with Maccabi Tel Aviv during the 2021-22 season. Last season, he averaged 13.4 points, 2.7 rebounds and 3.7 assists along with 1.2 steals through 34 games.

He saw his season coming to an end during the Lithuanian league playoffs when he suffered a tear of the patella ligament. He is expected to be out for at least six months but Olympiacos decided to sign him.

The Greek giants already made moves to cover for the American guard, who was rumored to coming into an agreement with the club before the end of the season. The Reds signed Luca Vildoza a few days back while they also added Tyler Dorsey.
