Dzanan Musa has officially stayed with Real Madrid for at least one more season as the Spanish giants announced. Sirens from the NBA became louder and louder for the scoring guard/forward during the season, but the 2024 EuroLeague finalists will retain him for the next season.
The Bosnian star became a fan-favorite in Madrid having a huge impact during the last two seasons. With the ACB powerhouse, Musa has won five titles, 1 EuroLeague, 1 League, 1 Copa del Rey and 2 Spanish Super Cups.
He averaged 13.5 points on 41.3 percent shooting from beyond the arc and PIR of 13.5 in his breakout season with the Spanish team in the EuroLeague.
The Spaniards announced the first move of the offseason with the signing of former Badalona guard Andres Feliz, while they kept three key pieces in the roster.
Mario Hezonja and Edy Tavares signed long-term deals to stay in Madrid, while Musa will also be part of Chus Mateo squad for next season. Moreover, Real extended head coach Chus Mateo contract for two more seasons.
