Donatas Motiejunas remains with Monaco for another 2 years

Donatas Motiejunas has agreed to a two-year extension with Monaco, the Monegasques officially announced on Monday. The new deal will keep the Lithuanian big man with the club through the summer of 2026.

Donatas Motiejunas moved to Monaco in the summer of 2021, after spending several seasons in the NBA and overseas. He had 8.8 points and 3.4 rebounds last season, where the Monegasques came a step away from reaching the EuroLeague Final Four for a second year in a row.

Monaco managed to re-sign superstar guard Mike James this offseason, while they landed EuroLeague veterans Nick Calathes and Giorgos Papagiannis from Fenerbahce.
