Youssoupha Fall has agreed to an one-year deal with Barcelona, the Catalans announced on Wednesday. The Senegalese big man spent the past three years with ASVEL Villeurbanne, where he had averages of 8.8 points and 6.6 rebounds per game last season.
Youssoupha Fall will now have the chance to play for a title contender in the EuroLeague after spending the past five years between Baskonia (2019-2021) and ASVEL (2021-2024).
The 29-year-old big man becomes the fifth signing of the Blaugrana, after Chimezie Metu, Justin Anderson, Juan Nunez and Kevin Punter. Barcelona has also hired Joan Penarroya as the new head coach, after parting ways with Roger Grimau after just one season.
