Elie Okobo signs 2-year extension with Monaco

Elie Okobo will stay with Monaco for another two years, the Monegasques announced on Sunday. The French guard moved to Monaco back in 2022 and will now remain with the club through the summer of 2026.

Elie Okobo has won back-to-back French League titles with the Monegasques, while he helped the team reach the EuroLeague Final Four for the first time ever in 2023.

“I am happy with my extension here in Monaco. It has now been two years since we built something with the team. Each time, we are very close to fulfilling our objectives, especially on the European stage… I am really looking forward to this new season, to doing something special and even better than in previous years,” Elie Okobo said in a statement, via EuroLeague.net.

Okobo had averages of 11.0 points and 3.1 assists last season. The Monegasques have made changes to their roster, bringing in Nick Calathes, and Giorgos Papagiannis.
