Maccabi Tel-Aviv officially announced that Tamir Blatt will stay with the club through the summer of 2026, after signing a two-year contract extension.
The Israeli star guard moved to Maccabi last year and had 7.0 points and 4.8 assists in the EuroLeague, on 39.3 percent from beyond the arc. Before that, Tamir Blatt spent a couple of years with ALBA Berlin (2021-2023).
Maccabi Tel-Aviv has seen several roster changes this offseason, following the departure of star players, like Lorenzo Brown, Wade Baldwin and Bonzie Colson. Instead, they have signed Rokas Jokubaitis, Jordan Loyd, Levi Randolph, Jaylen Hoard and Wenyen Gabriel.
Maccabi Tel-Aviv will kick off its EuroLeague campaign with a home game against ASVEL Villeurbanne on Thursday, October 3.
