Partizan is set to announce a new addition ahead of the 2024-25 season as Mario Nakic will return to the EuroLeague after five seasons. As his team, Igokea m:tel officially confirmed, the Serbian will join Partizan.
The Serbian powerhouse has yet to announce the transfer officially, and contract details remain unknown. Nakic spent the last two seasons in the Croatian and ABA league with Igokea.
The Serbian will be the 5th addition for Partizan after Marinkovic, Ntilikina, Lundberg and Washington. Nakic made six Basketball Champions League appearances last season averaging 4.2 points, 2.7 rebounds and 1.8 assists.
Aside from making 3 EuroLeague appearances with Real Madrid, he played in the EuroCup during the 2021-22 season while he was in Andorra. With the ACB club, had 5.0 points and 2.5 rebounds in 15 minutes per game. Before Igokea, Nakic also had a stint with Filou Oostende.
Nakic became the second Igokea player this summer to move to EuroLeague after Dalibor Ilic who joined fellow Serbian powerhouse, Crvena Zvezda.
