Stephen Curry expects France to bring its A-Game against Team USA in the Final

Stephen Curry erupted for 36 points in the semi-final against Serbia (95-91) and led Team USA to the gold medal game in the Olympic Basketball Tournament. The Americans are now preparing for the clash with France and the four-time NBA champion expects the French to bring their A-Game.

“You expect them to play the game of their lives. They are going to have the homecourt advantage and we expect them to be great. We expect that from ourselves as well…France has been playing great. I think they made rotation changes after pool play. I know it is going to be a battle. But I think we will be locked in and focus on the strategy and gameplay. And being the killers that we are throughout the tournament,” Stephen Curry said ahead of Saturday’s gold medal game against the hosts, via Eurohoops.net.

Stephen Curry was unstoppable with 36 points and eight rebounds, on 9/13 shooting from beyond the arc, helping Team USA stay undefeated en route to another gold medal.

As for the French, they have turned things around after a mediocre start in group stage and stunned both Canada (82-73) and reigning world champions Germany (73-69) reaching the Final for a second time in a row.
