After spending the past five years in Europe, Guerschon Yabusele appears to be ready for a comeback to the NBA. The French star forward took to social media and wrote that he was ‘waiting’ for a second chance to return to the NBA.
“Been waiting for a 2nd chance.. I’m ready,” Guerschon Yabusele wrote on his official account on X.
Yabusele spent two years with the Boston Celtics (2017-2019), where he had a limited role and averages of 2.3 points. He then moved to ASVEL Villeurbanne (2019-2021) before joining Real Madrid (2021-present). With the Whites, he has won the Spanish League title twice and the 2023 EuroLeague championship.
Guerschon Yabusele led France to the second place and the silver medal in the 2024 Olympic Basketball Tournament with averages of 14.0 points and 3.3 rebounds, on 51.9 percent shooting.
