Dzanan Musa is entering the final year of his current contract with Real Madrid, after the Whites activated the option on the deal he had signed back in 2022.
With the start of the new season fast approaching, the Bosnian star forward opened up about staying with the Spanish giants for another season and revealed that he has started contract extension talks with the club.
“I initially signed a 2+1 contract. They had the option to either extend or terminate the contract and now they’ve decided to extend it…Now negotiations for a new contract are starting, so this doesn’t mean I have any other plans. Of course, there’s a possibility of returning to the USA, but I don’t want to talk about that. I’m trying to stay focused on this season and do my best. I’m very happy at Real, and I hope that if a good offer comes, I can stay with Real for many years,” Dzanan Musa told klix.ba.
Dzanan Musa is expected to lead the way for the Whites for another season. Last year, he helped Real Madrid reach the Championship Game in the EuroLeague for a third year in a row and win the ACB title. He had averages of 13.5 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 2.2 assists in the 2023/24 season.
