The Golden State Warriors and Stephen Curry have agreed to an 1-year extension, Adrian Wojnarowski reports. The 2024 gold medalist had two more seasons in his current contract and he will remain with the Dubs until the 2026-27 season.
Curry is coming off an impressive summer with Team USA when he helped the Americans win their fifth gold in the row. As for the previous NBA season, Curry was unable to make the playoffs with the Warriors.
Golden State reached the play-in tournament with the 10th seed but lost to the Sacramento Kings.
Stephen Curry previously signed extensions with the Warriors in 2012 and 2021, as well as a free agent contract in 2017.
The additional year he signed for worth around $62.5 million. Last season, the future Hall of Famer averaged 26.4 points, 4.5 rebounds and 5.1 assists in 32.7 minutes.
