EuroLeague rumors: Olympiacos has a deal in place with Evan Fournier

Olympiacos has a deal in a place with French star guard Evan Fournier, according to Greek media outlets. The two sides were in talks over the past couple of days and it appears that Fournier has accepted the Reds’ offer.

There is no confirmation on the contract details, but reports suggest that it will be for two years, worth a total of $4 million. Evan Fournier, who spent the past 12 years in the NBA, is the second NBA player that moves to Olympiacos from the NBA, after Sasha Vezenkov, who returned to the Reds after a year with the Sacramento Kings.

Shams Charania of The Athletic also confirmed the news on his account on X.

With Evan Fournier’s addition, it remains to be seen who will leave Olympiacos, as the Reds now have a full roster. Filip Petrusev could be the first one to part ways with the Reds, as it appears there is a deal in place to move to Crvena Zvezda on loan.

Shaquielle McKissic, who is in the final year of his deal with the Greek giants, could also leave, even though there have been no talks between the club and the player thus far.
