EuroLeague rumors: Olympiacos in talks with Evan Fournier

Evan Fournier is looking at the possibility of returning to Europe after 12 years. The French international hasn’t found a deal in the NBA until this point, after spending the last season between New York and Detroit. According Sport24, Fournier is earning interest from several top-tier EuroLeague clubs including Olympiacos.

The Greek sports outlet revealed that the Olympian is in talks with the Reds but nothing more than that. In order for the French guard/small forward to finally make the decision to come to Europe, he will have to find an offer from a team that will compete for the trophy in the top club competition.

As Sport24 reporter Pantelis Diamantopoulos revealed, Fournier refused to negotiate with Olimpia Milan due to the fact that they were not among the teams competing for the title during the past seasons.

Fournier had an underwhelming season in the NBA but helped France NT reach the final of the 2024 Olympic Tournament. Despite the fact that they fought hard, they fell to the USA due to a three-point barrage by Stephen Curry in the final 3 minutes of the game.
