Clippers secure Ivica Zubac with 3-Year extension

The Los Angeles Clippers made the 3-year extension agreement with Ivica Zubac official on Tuesday. The Croatian international will continue in Los Angeles and the Clippers until the summer of 2028.

Last season, Zubac averaged 11.7 points and 9.2 rebounds, while in the playoff series against the Dallas Mavericks, his averages rose to 16.2 points per contest.

Zubac, 27, has already been part of the locker room in the LA Clippers, being a member of the team since 2019.

Zubac started his career with the Los Angeles Lakers but was traded to the Clippers in exchange for Mike Muscala in 2019. His physical presence under the basket helped the LA franchise build a strong group around Kawhi Leonard and Paul George.

Ivica Zubac had a career-high in points during the past season, but the Clippers fell short in the playoffs, losing to the Dallas Mavericks in the first round.
