Bayern Munich has officially announced the addition of Shabazz Napier. The 33-year-old guard agreed to an one-year deal with the Bavarians, while there is an option on his contract for the 2025/26 season.
Shabazz Napier spent the previous season between Crvena Zvezda and Armani Milano. He had averages of 9.8 points and 2.3 assists with the Serbians as well as 10.9 points and 4.0 assists with the Italians. His performance, though, was not enough to lead either team to the EuroLeague playoffs.
🇺🇸 We add another @UConnMBB legend to the roster: Shabazz Napier signs with us and joins his fellow two-time NCAA champion Niels Giffey for at least one season.

The American guard becomes the Bavarians’ fourth offseason signing, after Yam Madar, Oscar Da Silva and Johannes Voigtmann.
Bayern Munich, who hired Gordon Herbert as the new head coach, will kick off its EuroLeague campaign with a home game against Real Madrid on Thursday, October 3. It will be the first game in their new home, the SAP Garden.
