Shane Larkin will miss Anadolu Efes upcoming preparation games as he’s dealing with sprained ankle, per report. The news around Larkin’s injury was first broke out by Turkish media outlet S Sport.
Shane Larkin was on the injury list for the last two Efes games and he’s hoping to make his return during the Pavlos Giannakopoulos tournament.
The former Boston Celtics’ guard signed a four-year contract extension with Anadolu Efes at the end of last season ending the speculation of him leaving the club after six years. Larkin has been a huge part of the Turkish giants success during the past seasons.
Efes will continue its preparation with the superstar guard who appeared in 35 Euroleague games last season. Larkin will miss for sure the upcoming exhibition games against Karsiyaka, Galatasaray, ALBA Berlin, Tofas and Zalgiris Kaunas.
Wrapping up their preparation phase for the new season, Efes will participate in the 6th annual Pavlos Giannakopoulos Tournament along with Panathinaikos and Maccabi Tel Aviv.
