Injury woes continue for Monaco, as star forward Furkan Korkmaz will miss three to four weeks of action, after suffering a right adductor injury (slight tear). Per the official announcement, the Monegasques expect to have the former NBA player back to the lineup in late October, barring any setbacks.
Furkan Korkmaz made his EuroLeague debut with Monaco, and had 10 points and two steals, on 4/6 shooting, in 14 minutes on the floor. It was his first EuroLeague game in seven years.

Despite Korkmaz’s injury, the Monegasques cruised to an easy 93-80 win over Armani Milano and kicked off their EuroLeague campaign the best way possible. Monaco will stay home to host Maccabi Tel-Aviv in Round 2 this Wednesday, October 9th.
