EuroLeague Round 12 tips: Backing Elijah Bryant & Theo Maledon for success

With the conclusion of the first part of EuroLeague round 12, we are heading to a strong finish on Friday night as four games with huge interest are taking place. Several players are set to make at least some noise tonight, so we recommend putting faith in them.

Our interest is focused on Lyon, where the young and exciting LDLC ASVEL is hosting Turkish powerhouse Anadolu Efes.

The game takes place at LDLC Arena with Efes coming off a tough defeat to EuroLeague miracle workers, Paris Basketball. At the same time, ASVEL will look to bounce back from a 103-92 defeat to Betclic Elite League rivals AS Monaco.

Here are three betting tips to follow for Friday’s matchups.

Elijah Bryant, 13+ total points

Odds: 1.80 (Stoiximan)

Elijah Bryant has been the main scoring initiator for Anadolu Efes this season. The dynamic wing is putting up stellar numbers, especially with Shane Larkin sidelined with injury. That said, the 2021 NBA champion is registering almost 13 points on great efficiency shooting 48.2 percent from inside the paint.

He scored more than 13 points in 5 of his 10 EuroLeague appearances so far, while ASVEL is not known for its defensive ability, especially in the perimeter. Taking that into consideration, we believe that the Efes forward will be able to perform at a high level.

Theo Maledon, Top Scorer

Odds: 1.88 (Stoiximan)

Theo Maledon is one of the best guards in the EuroLeague this season despite the fact that his all-around great performances have not been translated to victories for LDLC ASVEL (3-8). The French international is unstoppable during the last few games scoring over 24 in the last three and leading his team from the guard position.

Maledon had a game-high in points in four (two of them in the last three weeks) of his 11 EuroLeague games this season, and with Shane Larkin out for Efes, we believe that he will be able to outscore every player on the floor tonight.

Niccolo Mannion OVER 5.5 Assists

Odds: 1.91 (Novibet)

Niccolo Mannion got his chance to play again in the EuroLeague after his impressive performances in the Lega Basket with Varese. He arrived in Milan recently and already left his mark especially in the previous two games. He put up 13 points and 7 assists in the win against Partizan, while he followed his excellent performance with another strong 12-8 stat line that led to a victory over Maccabi.

Milan is going to have a tough time playing on the road against the top team in the EuroLeague standings, but Mannion could be able to replicate some of his recent play, at least in the assists department. It might be considered a tricky wager, but Mannion is in prime form, and he will want to show his chops against top-tier competition.
