Anadolu Efes head coach Tomislav Mijatovic shared an update on the condition of Shane Larkin, who has returned to practice following an ankle injury that has sidelined him since late October.
The American star guard has returned to practice, but coach Mijatovic has avoided providing a timetable for his comeback, as the club wants to prevent him from re-aggravating the injury for a third time.
“We need to be extra careful, as we don’t want to see him getting a third injury in the same spot. He’s a special player and does great practices, he practiced today before the game, he practiced this morning, he wants it more than anybody else. It’s just the fact we need to prepare him to avoid any danger to his health when he returns. I’m expecting him soon, but I really can’t give you a precise answer,” Tomislav Mijatovic told media Tuesday. [h/t Basketnews.com]
