EuroLeague Fantasy is back with the first action for 2025, with several big-time matchups on the menu and various chances for improvement in your fantasy squad.
The new year has brought us enough credits to move and pick up budget-friendly building blocks in order to add to your top-end talent. In any case, be aware that your team might need a boost in the guard and forward positions with budget-friendly options to build your team around top-end talent like Sasha Vezenkov, Facundo Campazzo, Theo Maledon and others.
Without further ado, here are three options to have in mind for Round 19 that starts on January 2 with the game between Olympiacos and Zalgiris Kaunas.
Sylvain Francisco, Zalgiris Kaunas (12.2 credits)
Sylvain Francisco bounced back from a middling period between Round 7 and 13, in which he struggled to impact the game the same way he did when the season started. The former FC Bayern guard has returned to top form by averaging more than 15 Fantasy points in each of the last 5 games.
His ability to impact the game offensively will make it simpler for you to earn a substantial boost to your point total. He has been an essential part of Zalgiris plan in the last two games, earning more than 23 EuroLeague Fantasy points in each round while registering a season-high 9 assists in the previous game against Maccabi.
He also scored a +20 PIR in three of the last four games and remains a budget-friendly option, as you only need 12.2 credits to add him to your EuroLeague Fantasy squad.
Roman Sorkin, Maccabi Tel Aviv (9.2 credits)
Maccabi Tel Aviv provides several opportunities in the EuroLeague Fantasy world after earning a huge blowout victory over Zalgiris Kaunas. Roman Sorkin is more than impressive in the last three games registering more than 18 points in each of the last three games.
Sorkin will likely see his minutes getting reduced in the near future if Travion Williams earnd a steady role but until then, you can take advantage of his hot streak. In the last 5 games, he’s registering 14.8 EuroLeague Fantasy points and he remains a great option for the forward position at 9.2 credits.
If you believe he can continue to light up the scoreboard as he is scoring 20.3 points on 55/41/75 shooting splits during the last three game, then it should be among your potential pickups for Round 19.
Johannes Voigtmann, FC Bayern Basketball (9.8 credits)
Johannes Voigtmann is not one of the first names to come to your mind for your EuroLeague Fantasy squad, especially when it comes to the center position. But, hear me out, the veteran stretch big is excellent against teams with big dinosaur-like centers in the EuroLeague.
FC Bayern takes on Real Madrid on the road and Voigtmann was the top performer in the game of the first round, in which Bayern beat Real Madrid. He had 19 points and 10 rebounds for the high-pace Bavarians, while he’s coming off two solid games in which he had a total of 22 points and 20 rebounds.
You can add him to your EuroLeague Fantasy squad with barely less than 10 credits, especially for the Round 19 matchup, in which he expects to have an active role.
