EuroLeague Fantasy: Three players in a slump you should avoid

With the first part of Round 19 fantasy week concluded, we checked on three players that are going through a serious slump and you should avoid at this point of the season in the EuroLeague Fantasy leagues. Some of the names you will see in the list appear there due to consecutive poor nights in the EuroLeague.

Others are coming off injuries, and they will need time to get back to their form ahead of the second part of the regular season. In any case, be aware to avoid those players in the Fantasy league, at least for those weeks to come.

Nemanja Nedovic, Crvena Zvezda (9.7 Credits)

Nemanja Nedovic is going through a rough patch due to his inability to be effective in the last four games. The veteran guard is only registering 3.2 EuroLeague Fantasy points in the last four, while losing some of his value as it dropped to 9.7 credits. We would recommend staying away from the Serbian guard and avoid selecting him for your squad.

Nedovic is averaging just 5.8 points and 2.3 assists on 29.2 percent shooting in the last four games. He can be considered overpriced at 9.7 credits if you take his performance into account in the last few weeks.

Lonnie Walker, Zalgiris Kaunas (12.8 credits)

Lonnie Walker’s name in the current list might surprise some, but the former Lakers guard is struggling to impact the game in the last few rounds. The dynamic guard is only putting up 6.00 Fantasy points in the last four games. His shooting selection hasn’t been great, shooting 40 percent from the field and 29 percent from three.

Even against Olympiacos, he started hot but soon became a non-factor, finishing the contest with 11 points all in the first half. Walker might need a breather, especially with just producing 6 fantasy points for the lucrative value of 12.8 credits.

Nick Calathes, AS Monaco (9.2 credits)

Nick Calathes is a quite different occasion from the last two players losing the first 18 rounds of the season due to injury. Calathes was not expected to make a true impact after making his debut in Round 19 against ALBA. The Greek guard will have a lot of opportunity to cover the ground, posting 19 minutes in his AS Monaco debut.

Giving 9.2 credits for a player that was sidelined for many months is not the optimal decision, and you should wait a few round before deciding whether you need him or not in your EuroLeague Fantasy squad. Be advised that Calathes is a player who worked with Spanoulis in the past, so he might be willing to earn his spot earlier.

Calathes finished with seven assists, zero points, 2 rebounds, 2 steals one block
