Dallas Mavericks: Kyrie Irving out for 1-2 weeks

Kyrie Irving is set to be sidelined for the next 1-2 weeks, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.

The Dallas Mavericks superstar is dealing with a back injury adding to the Mavericks injury struggles. Irving became the second Mavs superstar to sit out after Luka Doncic. It’s not clear when Doncic will return.

The Mavericks have lost five of six games since Doncic suffered his calf strain. They went for a 19-10 to 20-15 since Christmas.

Kyrie Irving had missed two of the Mavericks’ last three games prior to today’s report.
