Chet Holmgren will not return to action soon, as the OKC Thunder provided an update that ruled him out for an additional three to five weeks.
The young star big man has been out of action since November 10, when he sustained a hip injury in the game against the Golden State Warriors.
The Thunder sidelined him for eight to 10 weeks, but the latest update is not positive and Chet Holmgren will not return soon.
Based on the new timetable, he should be back right after the All-Star Break in mid-February.
Chet Holmgren has averages of 16.4 points, 8.7 rebounds and 2.6 blocks in 10 games this season
Despite the star big man’s absence, the Thunder have been impressive in the first part of the season and are on top of the Western Conference standings with a 34-7 record.
