Jimmy Butler was sanctioned with a two-game suspension due to missing the team’s flight, Shams Charania reports.
Butler missed the Heat flight with the plan to join the team later. Instead, he will miss the team’s two-game road trip against the Milwaukee Bucks (Thursday) and Brooklyn Nets (Saturday).
Butler recently returned from a 7-game suspension as his demand to get traded stands.Butler has played just three games since Dec. 21.
The veteran forward reiterated his desire to leave Miami putting pressure on Miami as they have only two weeks until the trade deadline.

In their statement announcing Jimmy Butler’s seven-game suspension, the Heat also announced that “we will listen to offers.”
