Chet Holmgren is expected to return to the Oklahoma City Thunder lineup Friday night, when the West leaders play hosts to the Toronto Raptors. The young star big man is not part of the franchise’s injury report and is set to play for the first time after a three-month absence.
The OKC superstar sustained a right iliac wing fracture in the opening quarter of a game against the Golden State Warriors back on November 10. Nearly three months later, he is ready to go for a Thunder team that has dominated the West and leads the way with a 40-9 record.
Back in November, OKC was 8-2 after the first 10 games. During Chet Holmgren’s 12-week absence, they have won 32 of the 39 games they have played.
