Joel Bolomboy is expected to miss the remainder of the regular season in the EuroLeague, after an injury he sustained late during Thursday’s home game vs Armani Milano.
Per the medical update from Crvena Zvezda, Joel Bolomboy “has suffered a moderate-to-severe foot sprain with no signs of a fracture, requiring a recovery period of 3 to 6 weeks, depending on the speed of his rehabilitation.”
The Serbians’ big man is expected to miss most likely all five of the final regular season games in the EuroLeague, which will end on April 11.
Joel Bolomboy has averages of 10.2 points and 8.3 rebounds for a Crvena Zvezda team that has lost three in a row in the EuroLeague, but is among the frontrunners for a playoff spot with a 16-13 record, tied with Barcelona, Armani Milano and Paris Basketball for sixth in the standings.
