Wade Baldwin helped Fenerbahce sweep the playoff series with Paris Basketball (3-0) and move to the EuroLeague Final Four for the second year in a row, with a rematch with the reigning champions Panathinaikos set for Friday, May 23rd, in Abu Dhabi.
The American star guard, who had averages of 11.1 points, 3.7 assists and 2.6 rebounds this season, will play in the Final Four for the first time in his career and is looking forward to going all the way, as he will face the Greens again after last year’s playoff series with Maccabi Tel-Aviv.
“I have marked May 23rd on my calendar since the last Final Four. I’m happy it’s Panathinaikos. It’s a game I’ve been waiting for since last year. I can’t wait until May 23rd,” Wade Baldwin said ahead of the semi-final with the Greek giants. [h/t Eurohoops.net]
