Tyson Ward signs with Olympiacos through 2027

Tyson Ward has officially joined Olympiacos, as the Reds announced their deal with the American forward on Wednesday. The former Paris Basketball player will stay with the Greek giants through the summer of 2027.

Olympiacos paid a buyout of 300,000 euros to the Parisiens to acquire Ward, who is expected to become the starting forward next season.

Tyson Ward played a key role in Paris’ impressive run in the club’s maiden EuroLeague campaign with averages of 11.0 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 1.3 assists per game while shooting 58.9% from the field and 33.2% from beyond the arc.

The versatile forward spent the last two seasons with Paris Basketball, winning the EuroCup title in 2024 as well as the French Basket League title and the French Cup in straight seasons (2024, 2025).

He will now become rivals with former teammate TJ Shorts, who left the Parisiens as well and signed a two-year deal with Panathinaikos.
