Jamal Murray addressed his failed comeback attempt to the lineup of the Denver Nuggets after recovering from an ACL injury.

The former All-Star has been out since April 2021 and was close to his return to action in the final games of the regular season.

However, he wasn’t ready to go and eventually missed the entire regular season and the playoff series with the Golden State Warriors.

“I have to feel good to play. I don’t know how else I can say it. I have some really great days where there’s no soreness and I feel like I can go.

Then you have the days right after that where I’m just not there yet. Those days are really tough. Those slow days, it’s tough to see the future after that,” Jamal Murray told reporters, via Clutchpoints.

The star guard is expected to be ready for the start of the 2022/23 season, aiming to help the Nuggets return to title contention.
