Nigel Hayes-Davis announces departure from Barcelona

Nigel Hayes-Davis took to Instagram and announced his departure from Barcelona this offseason. The American forward spent just one year with the Catalans and will now search for his next team.

Hayes-Davis played 37 games with the “Blaugrana” in the EuroLeague, averaging 4.1 points and 2.1 rebounds.

He won the Spanish Cup in February and also played in the EuroLeague Final Four (3rd place) and the ACB Finals (lost 3-1 to Real Madrid).

For its part, Barcelona is set to make many changes to its roster following the end of the season. Aside from Hayes-Davis, Brandon Davies will also part ways with the club, while the same could happen with Nick Calathes.

At the same time, the club is close to signing the star duo of the Czech NT Jan Vesely (who parted ways with Fenerbahce) and Tomas Satoransky.
