Sixers’ Tyrese Maxey out at least 3-4 weeks with foot injury

Tyrese Maxey will be sidelined until mid-December, due to a left foot injury, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

The young guard will not need surgery to repair the damage, however the fracture in his foot will cost him at least three to four weeks.

Tyrese Maxey left Friday’s win over the Milwaukee Bucks (102-110) late in the first half with a foot injury after posting 24 points, on 9-for-12 shooting.

Maxey joins James Harden as the two Sixers starters that are out with foot injuries. Harden is set to return in early to mid-December as he is dealing with a right foot tendon strain.

Maxey has been off to a career-best start this season, averaging 22.9 points and 4.4 assists. Philadelphia is ninth in the East with an 8-8 record.
