Lakers’ Patrick Beverley suspended 3 games after DeAndre Ayton incident

The NBA officially announced on Thursday that Los Angeles Lakers guard Patrick Beverley has been suspended three games after the incident with Phoenix Suns big man DeAndre Ayton.

Late in the fourth quarter of the loss to the Suns (105-115), Patrick Beverley forcefully shoved Ayton from behind and knocked him to the court. Because of his actions, Beverley got a technical foul and was ejected.

The veteran guard will serve his suspension right away and is set to miss the games vs the San Antonio Spurs (November 25, 26) and Indiana Pacers (November 28). The Lakers are 14th in the West with just five victories in 16 games (5-11).
