NBA Fantasy: 3 Players to boost rebounding numbers

With NBA Fantasy players looking to make tweaks in the middle of week 7, we are presenting some players that could pick up for your team’s rebounding numbers going forward.

Without further ado, here are three rebounding connoisseurs for your NBA Fantasy team:

Josh Hart – Portland Trail Blazers

Portland Trail Blazers wing Josh Hart has proven his ability to rebound the ball. He’s the best rebounder in his position and he’s a great option for any player who has picked him already. Hart posted 10 points (4-8 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 2-4 FT), 19 rebounds in Friday’s matchup vs the Knicks before fouling out.

He’s averaging 8.4 rebounds per game as the starting forward of the Portland Trail Blazers. He’s getting 37 minutes per contest during the last three, more than starting center Jusuf Nurkic who has been on the floor for 34 minutes per through the last three games.

Not only that, but he grabbed more than seven rebounds in 12 of the Blazers’ first 21 games of the season and will greatly boost your team’s rebounding numbers. If you find him available for your team then is a must-have option in NBA Fantasy basketball

Ivica Zubac – Los Angeles Clippers

Ivica Zubac has been a steady contributor for the Los Angeles Clippers this season. With Paul George ailing injuries and Kawhi Leonard missing 18 of the Clippers’ first 22 games, Zubac has provided more offense than ever in his career, while boosting his rebounding numbers.

Zubac’s numbers Sunday against the Pacers were jaw-dropping, as the Croatian big man generated a 31-point, 29-rebound double-double that included three blocks. He had another solid performance in the next game vs Portland, putting up a 12-point, 13-rebound double-double.

Zubac is the fourth-best rebounder in the league through the first 22 games of the season, and he’s expected to continue putting up numbers for the undermanned Clippers. He’s recording a career-high in rebounds per game with 11.7, while he already has nine DDs under his name. In contrast, he had 25 all season during the 2021-22 campaign.

He has to be starter-caliber player in your NBA Fantasy team, at least for the coming weeks.

Justice Winslow – Portland Trail Blazers

Justice Winslow has been a starter in the last five games as the Blazers are missing players including Damian Lillard, who remains out with injury. Winslow has been a strong rebounder during his NBA career despite not earning a steady role in the last few seasons.

This season, he has been used more in guard position and he’s more steady in providing number in the NBA Fantasy leagues. He grabbed 6+ rebounds in seven games this season and he might be a good bench option for your NBA Fantasy team.

This season, Winslow is averaging 7.4 points, 5.4 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game. Shooting has not been his strong suit (38% from the field), but if your roster can take the hit then he could provide a boost in several categories including rebounding.
