LeBron James of the LA Lakers and Donovan Mitchell of the Cleveland Cavaliers have claimed the NBA Players of the Week award for Week 12.
The four-time champion averaged 35 points, 8.7 rebounds and 7.7 assists last week and led the Lakers to a five-game winning streak. Hence, the 17-time NBA champions have re-entered the playoff race and are at 19-21 in the West standings.
LeBron James is averaging 29.1 points, 8.2 rebounds and 6.7 assists over 31 games this season and is a few games away from becoming the All-time scoring leader in the league. James will miss Monday’s game vs the Denver Nuggets with left ankle soreness.
