Nemanja Bjelica is not yet ready for his season debut with Fenerbahce, the Turkish club announced on Monday.
The Serbian forward was on track for his debut with the team, which could happen as early as this week. However, his return will be delayed for at least a couple of weeks after the setback he faced.

As he ramped up his rehabilitation, Nemanja Bjelica felt some pain in the leg that he had previously injured, while tests confirmed that he also has swelling in his calf.
He will now follow a program to reduce the swelling in his calf and his status will be evaluated on a daily basis. The expectation is that Nemanja Bjelica, who is out since late August, can gradually begin to rejoin Fenerbahce’s team practices in the next week.
Fenerbahce is at 12-7 in the EuroLeague standings, tied with Olympiacos, Monaco and Barcelona for second on the table.
