The NBA returns to Europe for the first time since January of 2020 and the 2023 NBA Paris Game will take place on Thursday, January 19.
The Chicago Bulls and the Detroit Pistons will collide at the Accor Arena in Bercy, Paris and the two teams have completed their preparation for the game with an open practice.
DeMar DeRozan, Zach LaVine and the rest of the Bulls players spoke with accredited media, including Hedgeout.net, during Wednesday’s practice.
The Chicago Bulls snapped a three-game losing streak on Sunday by defeating the Golden State Warriors 132-118 and improved to 20-24 in the standings. Center Nikola Vucevic tied his career high with 43 points.
The Pistons, depleted by injuries, have lost five of their last six games. In their last outing on Sunday afternoon, they fell at home to the New York Knicks 117-104 and dropped to 12-35.
The 2023 NBA Paris Game will be the league’s 12th in France since 1991. The Bulls played two preseason contests in Paris in 1997. The Pistons, who are playing for the first time in France, have played regular-season games in London (2013) and Mexico City (2019).
