Dante Exum, Partizan rally past Virtus Bologna in playoff battle

Dante Exum was the X-factor for Partizan, which rallied past Virtus Bologna (79-88) in a battle between two playoff contenders.

The Aussie guard was impressive on both ends with 17 points, 7 assists, 7 rebounds and 3 steals, helping the Serbians make another step towards clinching a playoff spot.

“It’s hard to win on the road but we have so many fans here and we started off great and just kept riding with it. I just try to go out there and play my game, and it worked out tonight.

We’ve got an important game coming up [in Milan] so we’ll enjoy this one tonight but the next game is important as well, we’ve got to win that one,” Dante Exum said afterwards.

Partizan improved to 15-12 in the standings after winning six of its last seven games, while Virtus dropped to 12-15 with three losses in four.
