Panathinaikos added a new name in its injury list ahead of the Greek Basket League derby against Olympiacos on Monday night. As it was reported by several sources, Vildoza will be sidelined for Monday’s contest after experiencing discomfort in his right ankle.
Vildoza has a tough start with Panathinaikos to begin the season but he remains an important part of Ergin Ataman’s plans for the season. The Argentinian guard tried to train in the morning shootaround, but he could not overcome his problem, as a result he was left out of the derby.

As for the rest of the squad, Ioannis Papapetrou and Lefteris Mantzoukas will remain out as they are working their way back from past injuries. With Vildoza out, Kostas Sloukas will shoulder most of the scoring and playmaking duties in Monday’s contest.
Jerian Grant and Dimitris Moraitis expected to act as the back-up point guards for Panathinakos tonight. Olympiacos has his share of issues with Luke Sikma and Shaquille McKissic being sidelined dealing with injury.
