Mario Hezonja is known for his love for Panathinaikos club despite staying with the team for a limited time. The Croatian forward scored 19 points for Real Madrid, who took advantage of a strong second half to beat the “Greens” on the road.

Hezonja scored 19 points with 5/8 two-pointers, 2/3 three-pointers, 3/4 free throws, while he also had 4 steals in the match against Ergin Ataman’s team.
The EuroLeague reigning champion played for Panathinaikos during the 2020/21 season. He signed a contract with a team until the end of the season but did not stay with the Greek giants after the end of the 2020/21 campaign joining UNICS Kazan in the summer.
The star forward signed a two-year with Real Madrid in 2022 and he’s in his last year of his current contract.
