Pacers, Lakers advance to NBA Cup Final

Tyrese Haliburton had another game with zero turnovers along with 27 points and 15 assists to push the Indiana Pacers to the NBA Cup Final over the Milwaukee Bucks. Haluburton hit a clutch three with less than a minute left and point at his wrist imitating Damian Lillard’s “Dame Time”.

The Pacers got away in the final five minutes of the fourth quarter to beat the Bucks 128-119 in the semifinal that took place in Las Vegas. The Pacers will face the Los Angeles Lakers for the title Saturday night.

For the Bucks, who collapsed in the final quarter, Giannis Antetokounmpo finished with 37 points and 10 rebounds while Damian Lillard had 24.

In the other semifinal between the Lakers and Pelicans, LeBron James scored 30 points in less than 30 minutes and his team rolled past Pelicans 133-89. The key for the Lakers was keeping Zion Williamson to 10 points as the LA team steamrolled over the Pelicans.

Trey Murphy III led the Pelicans with 14 points. It was the third consecutive win for the Lakers who will look to win the first title of the season on Saturday night.
