Clippers superstars share excitement after impressive come-from-behind victory over Nets

The LA Clippers had to erase double-digit deficits multiple times during the game against the Brooklyn Nets to eventually earn the 114-125 victory at Crypto.com Arena on Sunday. The Western Conference powerhouse trailed by 16 points early on and by as many as 18 in the contest, but found a way to come back and protect their home.

The Clippers closed the game on an impressive 22-0 run and erased an 11-point deficit to seal the deal. Afterwards, megastars James Harden and Paul George shared their excitement about how the team played.

“They came out and punched us in the mouth and in that fourth quarter we played Clipper basketball, got some stops and the rest is history,” Harden said afterwards, per NBA.com. The former NBA MVP posted 24 points and 10 assists in the contest.

“We are going to always compete to the very end. Great thing about this group is we don’t ever believe that we’re down and out of it,” George added.

After a poor start, the Clippers have turned things around in the West. They are currently fourth with 27 wins and 14 losses, just two and a half games away from the Minnesota Timberwolves, who lead the way with 30 wins and 12 losses.

They have won eight of their last 10 and two in a row and will now host their rivals, the LA Lakers on Tuesday, seeking their third win in a row.
