Starting from the Chris Paul/Blake Griffin era that introduced NBA to the “Lob City” moniker the Clippers became a team that hunted superstar power since then. That said, the team only made the Western Conference Finals once so far, and they’re still searching for its first NBA title.

LA Clippers hope to win NBA title this season

The LA Clippers are set to be among the top-tier Western Conference team at the end of the regular season. With Kawhi Leonard remaining healthy for most of the season and having the help of James Harden, Paul George and Russell Westbrook, the team is at the best possible condition for the first time in years.

Leonard’s health is the decision factor for the Los Angeles Clippers and a championship run before they enter their new home “intuit Dome” next year will be the perfect end of an era for franchise. That said, Ty Lue and co. have their work cut off for them in a tough Western Conference that includes the last two NBA championship teams in the Warriors and Nuggets.

As a result, a potential title will be an uphill battle with several teams like the young OKC Thunder and the resurged Minnesota Timberwolves also pose a threat to the veteran star-studded Clippers’ team. In any case, injuries and luck will also play a big role in the tough West the upcoming postseason.
