The clash between Team USA and Serbia headlines the group stage of the 2024 Paris Olympic Games, after the draw that took place in Switzerland on Tuesday, March 19. The major FIBA tounrnament will be played from July 27 to August 10.
Team USA, and Serbia are the grand favorites to qualify from Group C, while the other two teams are South Sudan and the winner of the Olympic Qualifying Tournament that will take place in Puerto Rico.
In Group A, Australia will play Canada and the winners of the Qualifying Tournaments in Greece (Piraeus) and Spain (Valencia). Group B consists of France, Germany, Japan and the winner of the Olympic Qualifying Tournament in Latvia (Riga).

Team USA among 8 teams already qualified for 2024 Olympic Games
Team USA headlines the national teams that have already qualified for the 2024 Olympic Games in the summer. Eight teams have clinched a spot to the major tournament, including the Americans, France, Germany, Canada, Japan, Serbia, South Sudan, and Australia.
The remaining four teams will come off the four Qualifying Tournaments in Puerto Rico, Spain, Latvia and Greece.
It also appears that the top stars from both the EuroLeague and the NBA will play in the Olympics should their respective national teams be part of the tournament’s 12-team lineup.
