Nikola Mirotic keeps Barcelona alive in ACB Finals

Nikola Mirotic made a stellar offensive performance and kept Barcelona alive in the ACB Finals vs Real Madrid (1-1).

The superstar of the Catalans had a game-high 26 points and seven rebounds, helping his team survive a late thriller in Game 2 (71-69).

Mirotic scored 20 of his 26 points in the second half, including four straight in the final seconds to give his team the lead (69-67). Walter Tavares tied the game for the “Whites” (69-69), but was called for the foul in the next possession.

It was a controversial call, as Tavares had little to no contact with Cory Higgins, with the American guard making both free throws. Fabien Causeur missed the game-winning shot and the “Blaugrana” remained alive in the series.

Guerschon Yabusele had 16 points and 11 boards for Real Madrid, while Tavares and Adam Hanga also scored in double figures for the losing squad.
