Paolo Banchero has committed to playing for Team USA in the Basketball World Cup this summer (August 25 – September 10).

The star of the Orlando Magic was considering playing for Italy, as he holds an Italian passport, but has eventually decided to play for the Americans.

Paolo Banchero joins Austin Reaves (LA Lakers), Jalen Brunson (New York Knicks), Bobby Portis (Milwaukee Bucks), Malik Bridges (Brooklyn Nets), Cam Johnson (Brookltn Nets), Tyrese Haliburton (Indiana Pacers), Anthony Edwards (Minnesota Timberwolves), Jaren Jackson Jr. (Memphis Grizzlies), Brandon Ingram (New Orleans Pelicans), and Walker Kessler (Utah Jazz) as part of Team USA’s roster.
