Real Madrid and FC Barcelona will battle in the Final of the 2022 Copa Del Rey on Sunday.
The “Whites” rallied past Tenerife in the first semi-final of the competition (74-94). Meanwhile, FC Barcelona defeated Murcia a couple of hours later (90-103).
Tenerife vs Real Madrid (74-94)
Real led from start to finish and cruised to an easy victory over Tenerife (74-94). The Spanish giants took control after the first quarter and never looked back.
They led by 12 at halftime (50-38) and 18 in the third quarter (73-55). Tenerife never recovered and suffered a heavy loss.
MVP: Walter Tavares led the way for the winners with 15 points. Three more players scored in double figures.
Key to victory: Real outscored Tenerife 47-35 between te second and the third quarter to seal the deal.

Murcia vs FC Barcelona (90-103)
FC Barcelona used a strong fourth-quarter performance to rally past Murcia in the semi-final (90-103). The “Blaugrana” earned a 16-point lead after the first quarter (32-16).
Yet, Murcia turned things around and cut the deficit to one after the third quarter (73-72). The Catalans, though, scored 30 points in the fourth quarter, conceded 18 and sealed the deal.
MVP: Nicolas Laprovittola led the winners in scoring with 19 points. He also dished four assists.
Key to victory: FC Barcelona regained control in the fourth quarter, scored 30 points and cruised to the win.
FC Barcelona has won the trophy three times over the last four years (2018, 2019, 2021). They have claimed Copa Del Rey 26 times, two less than the “Whites”, who lead the way with 28.
