Erik Spoelstra says Tyler Herro’s status hasn’t changed for Game 2 of the NBA Finals

Tyler Herro is not expected to be available for Game 2 of the NBA Finals vs the Denver Nuggets at Ball Arena on Sunday.

The star guard of the Miami Heat is recovering from a hand injury (broken hand), but his status remains unchanged for Sunday’s game.

“The status has not changed yet. I’m not trying to be elusive about that. I don’t know where that report came out that he was playing Game 2. All we are focused on right now is his process, continuing to do work and get prepared. Whenever that timeline is, where he’s ready to go, I’ll let you know.

“We’re doing this game-by-game. I’ll let you know tomorrow. The status hasn’t changed. You can read into that,” Erik Spoelstra told media ahead of Sunday’s game.
